Chattanooga, Tennessee is the fourth biggest city in the state, and it has long been the source of exciting weekends for all that manage to pass through. It has many gorgeous parks, a number of historic landmarks, great mouth watering restaurants, and some truly thought provoking museums. If you find yourself passing through or even staying in Chattanooga for an extended period, here are just a few of the places you should consider checking out:

Also located in the same area is Ruby Falls, a series of waterfalls located within caves. You can take a guided tour inside, offering a serious one of a kind experience that’s fairly far removed from every day tedium. Make sure to look up the event schedule before you go, because the staff tends to host some pretty noteworthy events!

Located on One Broad Street, the Tennessee Aquarium is one of the best places to check out sea life in the entire country. Including everything from bizarre catfish to gorgeous freshwater stingrays, otters, and fish of all kinds, anyone with an appreciation for the ocean and its inhabitants needs to stop by. There’s plenty of freshwater fauna to investigate, and there are over 300 different types of fish. Enthusiasts for sea life will have to much to ogle over within these walls!
3 – Creative Discovery Museum
Located on Chestnut Street, the Creative Discovery Museum is a place where fun and exploration take the forefront. If you have a family with small children, there’s no way you should let them miss out on a visit here. It has attractions meant to appeal to all ages of course, but this museum is hands down the best place to bring your kids in all of Chattanooga.
